Nienhiser Romps To Lee County Score

DONNELLSON, Iowa — Polesitter Paul Nienhiser used a late-race caution flag to his advantage to regain the lead from Bill Balog and win Friday night’s Built Ford Tough MOWA Sprint Car Series Delivered by Morrow Brothers Ford at Lee County Speedway.

Balog, driving the Scott Bonar owned Midland Performance No. 50, led most of the race, but Nienhiser was able to find momentum and worked his way to the point.

“I’ve probably only raced here at (Donnellson) six or seven times in my career and I believe tonight was the first night in a long while that the 410 Sprints made their return to the track. It was a lot of fun racing there with Mason and Lynton towards the end” said Nienhiser.

Mason Daniel finished second, ahead of Lynton Jeffrey, Bill Balog and Jamie Ball.

The finish:

Paul Nienhiser, Mason Daniel, Lynton Jeffrey, Bill Balog, Jamie Ball, Austin McCarl, Jordan Goldesberry, Cory Bruns, Kyle Schuett, Brinton Marvel, Jacob Patton, Dustin Adams, Brayden Gaylord, Jeremy Standridge, Colton Fisher, Brayton Lynch, George Crawford, Harold Pohren, Josh Schneiderman, Dustin Barks.
