National Sprint Rankings: Slim Lead For Macedo As Season Dwindles

With only three weeks remaining in the season, Carson Macedo holds a slim lead in the National Sprint Car Rankings over David Gravel

Macedo, who won Friday’s World of Outlaws feature at Riverside Int’l Speedway, has an average finish of 3.038 in 68 starts this season, while Gravel has a 3.154 average finish in 67 races.

High Limit Racing champion Brad Sweet is third with an average finish of 3.679 in 68 events.

Jade Hastings and Donny Schatz complete the top five.

One hundred and 71 drivers have reached 20 required starts to be eligible for the national rankings and 869 drivers have run at least one 410 main event this season. 

Anthony Macri leads the Eastern region and Cole Macedo tops the Western region. 

Joe B. Miller tops the Mid-America region.

Cap Henry leads the Great Lakes and Mark Dobmeier tops the Great Plains region.

A.J. Flick leads the PA-OH region and Robbie Price is best in the Northwestern stanza.

One hundred and 69 drivers have won the 479 features run this season.

Macri and Gravel lead the nation with 15 victories each.
