Brock Zearfoss won the final 410 winged sprint car race of the season Saturday at BAPS Motor Speedway, signaling the end of the National Sprint Car Rankings, which concluded its 16th season under the direction of Gary Spaid.
Carson Macedo ended up on top of the rankings by five-hundredths of a point over World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series champion David Gravel.
Macedo, driver of the Jason Johnson Racing No. 41 has a 3.054 average finish in 71 starts compared to Gravel’s 3.109 average finish in 70 events. Gravel won a national-best 16 features.
High Limit Racing champion Brad Sweet is third with an average finish of 3.679 in 68 events.
Jade Hastings and Buddy Kofoid completed the top five.
One hundred and 72 drivers have reached 20 required starts to be eligible for the national rankings and 871 drivers ran at least one 410 main event this season.Â
Anthony Macri topped the Eastern region and Cole Macedo led the Western region. Joe B. Miller was best in the Mid-America region.
Cap Henry commanded the Great Lakes and Mark Dobmeier bested the Great Plains region.
A.J. Flick headlined the PA-OH region and Robbie Price ruled in the Northwestern stanza.
One hundred and 71 drivers have won the 486 features run this season.
Gravel lead the nation with 16 victories.
