With two more World of Outlaws victories in the past week, David Gravel has extended his advantage at the top of the National Sprint Car Rankings.
Gravel, who leads the nation with 14 victories, has an average finish of 4.386 in 44 starts this season. He also leads the World of Outlaws standings.
High Limit Racing point leader Brad Sweet ranks second with a 5.325 average finish in 40 races, while Donny Schatz is third with a 5.419 average finish in 43 events.
Tyler Courtney and A.J. Flick round out the top five.
Ninety-seven drivers have reached 20 required starts to be eligible for the national rankings and 769 drivers have run at least one 410 main event this season.
Three drivers (Anthony Macri, Devon Borden and Jacob Allen) have reached 50 starts and began dropping (up to 15) their worst finishes.
Macri has moved to sole possession of the top spot in the Eastern regional standings.
Cole Macedo holds the lead in the Western standings and Sweet tops of the Mid-America region standings. Cale Thomas leads the Great Lakes region.Â
Mark Dobmeier heads the Great Plains region.Â
A.J. Flick continues to pace the PA-OH region and Robbie Price leads the Northwestern stanza.
One hundred and 44 drivers have won the 317 features run so far this season.
