National Sprint Rankings: Gravel Maintains Over Macedo

World of Outlaws point leader David Gravel maintained a minimal lead in the National Sprint Car Rankings this week, with a two-tenths of a point advantage over Carson Macedo.

Gravel has an average finish of 3.920 in 55 races, while Macedo, who picked up a victory this week, ranks second with a 4.120 average finish in 56 races.

Brad Sweet, Donny Schatz and Anthony Macri, who grabbed his national-best 15th triumph of the season on Sunday at Pennsylvania’s Lincoln Speedway, complete the top five.

One hundred and 41 drivers have reached 20 required starts to be eligible for the national rankings and 810 drivers have run at least one 410 main event this season. Twenty-four drivers have reached the 50-start plateau and can begin dropping their worst finishes.

Anthony Macri leads the Eastern region and Cole Macedo tops the Western region. Ayrton Gennetten has moved to the top spot in Mid-America, Cap Henry leads the Great Lakes and Mark Dobmeier tops the Great Plains region.

A.J. Flick leads the PA-OH region and Robbie Price is best in the Northwestern stanza.

One hundred and 60 drivers have won the 400 features run so far this season.

Macri leads the nation with 15 victories each.
