National Sprint Rankings: Gravel Holds Small Margin Over Macedo

David Gravel maintained the lead in the National Sprint Car Rankings this week by a mere six-hundreths of a point over Carson Macedo.

The World of Outlaws point leader, Gravel has a 3.700 average finish in 57 starts this season, while Macedo is right behind with a 3.760 average finish in 58 races.

High Limit Racing point leader Brad Sweet ranks third with a 4.400 average finish in 58 races.

Rico Abreu, who won Saturday’s Tuscarora 50 at Pennsylvania’s Port Royal Speedway, is fourth. Donny Schatz ranks fifth.

One hundred and 55 drivers have reached 20 required starts to be eligible for the national rankings and 826 drivers have run at least one 410 main event this season.

Anthony Macri leads the Eastern region and Cole Macedo tops the Western region. Ayrton Gennetten has moved to the top spot in Mid-America, Cap Henry leads the Great Lakes and Mark Dobmeier tops the Great Plains region.

A.J. Flick leads the PA-OH region and Robbie Price is best in the Northwestern stanza.

One hundred and 63 drivers have won the 415 features run so far this season.
