HOLLY, Mich. — The Maxima Racing Oil Must See Racing Lights Series has unveiled their schedule for the upcoming season, with the action beginning at South Amherst, Ohio’s Lorain Raceway Park on April 23.
Then on August 19, the Bob Frey Classic and Jerry Caryer Memorial 40 commence as the series joins the MSR National 410 Series.
The series returns, for the first time in two years, to Shady Bowl (Ohio) Speedway on May 7, joining the CRA and the Vores Compact Series for an early season race.
Defending series champion Cody Gallogly delivered an impressive four fast times and three feature wins in 2022 to capture his first series championship title over points runner up and past champion J.J. Henes in a hard fought season-long points battle.
On Memorial Day Weekend, Michigan’s Birch Run Speedway and Event Center will have the MSR Lights competing on the quarter-mile on May 26, and on the banked four-tenths-mile oval one day later.
The recently repaved Owosso Speedway will host the Midwest Lights and the MSR 410 National Series on June 24, and for a second visit on Labor Day Weekend on September 2.
