WARRNAMBOOL, Australia – Three more entries have been filed for the South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic, which takes place Jan. 19-21 at Premier Speedway.
South Australian young gun Jake Tranter will be at the wheel of his familiar No. S45 Maxwill, which will again utilise the horsepower as provided by Maxwill Race Engines.
After failing to make his way into the feature events at the 2017 Classic last January, Tranter has already shown this season that he is ready to make some giant in-roads at the 46th edition of the Grand Annual Classic.
Another of the strong South Aussie Posse, Ricky Maiolo will also be out to right some wrongs from the 2017 Classic. The popular Maiolo managed to bring his No. S24 entry home in seventh-place in C-Main No. 2 in 2017 and he is hoping for a stronger performance in January.
Taking the list of current list of entrants to 59 is Queensland’s Andrew Corbet. Corbet will make his debut at the South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic aboard the No. Q78 Cool Chassis, with assistance under the hood from KRE Race Engines.
Corbet, who hails from Gympie in Queensland, will be supported by Lincom, Corbet’s Group and Arrow Transport Repairs at his maiden Classic appearance.
