PLACERVILLE, Calif. — Mitchell Faccinto was the top dog as the Sprint Car Challenge Tour kicked off its season Saturday night at Placerville Speedway.
Faccinto drove his No. 37 winged 360 sprint car to a .737-second victory over teenager Michael Kofoid in the 35-lap event on the quarter-mile dirt track.
World of Outlaws regular Brad Sweet finished third with Kyle Hirst and Shane Golobic rounding out the top five.
Faccinto earned $4,500 for the victory.
