For the first time since the 410 sprint car season started, James McFadden will be back at the helm of the No. 83 Roth Motorsports entry.
California racer Dominic Scelzi has been filling in for McFadden since the High Limit Racing season opener at Florida’s East Bay Raceway Park on Feb. 13. Reportedly, after venturing to his homeland of Australia over the offseason, McFadden experienced a series of issues in his attempt to return to the United States.
On Tuesday, Roth Motorsports announced via X, formerly known as Twitter, that McFadden would be “back to work on Friday at US 36 Raceway” for the World of Outlaws Wildcat Showdown in Osborn, Mo.
With McFadden being a “High Roller” this year, his true season with Roth Motorsports will begin with High Limit’s first Midweek Money Series event at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Ark., on April 9.
Thus far, McFadden has been absent from five races on the High Limit schedule.
