McFadden Motors To Placerville Gold

PLACERVILLE, Calif. — James McFadden started outside the front row and drove to his second High Limit Racing sprint car victory of the season Saturday night at Placerville Speedway.

Driving the Roth Motorsports No. 83, McFadden outlasted sixth-starter Justin Sanders following a late-race restart and picked up the $12,000 top prize in the Gold Rush Classic at the quarter-mile track.

Corey Day charged from ninth to finish third, with Andy Forsberg and Cory Eliason completing the top five.

Point leader Brad Sweet finished 18th and Friday night winner Tyler Courtney was 19th.
