KNOXVILLE, Iowa – James McFadden is back atop the Beaver Drill & Tool Jesse Hockett Mr. Sprint Car point standings.
McFadden’s return to the top of the standings comes after a second place finish in Wednesday’s qualifying night of the 59th Annual NOS Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals presented by Casey’s General Stores.
Action continues at Knoxville Raceway with the second qualifying night for the Knoxville Nationals Thursday evening.
Knoxville Raceway added prizes to the Beaver Drill and Tool Jesse Hockett Mr. Sprint Car Award this year. After the Tuesday Ultimate Challenge in Oskaloosa, the top four 410 teams within the KCCS point standings (Brian Brown, Austin McCarl, Mason Daniel and Trey Starks) received a free Hoosier Right Rear Tire. The top 360 KCCS Team (Ryan Giles) also will received a tire.
Beaver Drill & Tool Company of Kansas City is in their second year as title sponsor of the Beaver Drill & Tool Jesse Hockett Mr. Sprint Car Award. The Vielhauer family, well-known in the sprint car racing community are owners of Beaver Drill & Tool Co.
