DILLSBURG, Pa. — It only seemed it would be a matter of time before Anthony Macri returned to his family team — Macri Motorsports.
According to SprintCarUnlimited.com, that time will come later this week.
Macri abruptly departed from the No. 39m machine prior to the July 12-13 Eldora Million and raced Bernie Stuebgen’s No. 71 in select events the remainder of the season and also did a stint subbing for Tyler Courtney, who missed time with an injury.
Meanwhile, the Macri team continued its season with Lance Dewease and Justin Sanders at the wheel.
Macri will run Stuebgen’s car in Tuesday’s High Limit Racing Series event at Lincoln Park Speedway and is expected back in the family car for Friday night’s scheduled event at Pennsylvania’s Port Royal Speedway.
