Following the split between Lance Dewease and Kreitz Racing, the team announced that Logan Wagner will pilot the No. 69k sprint car at all Port Royal Speedway shows for the remaining season.
Wager is a five-time track champion at the half-mile Pennsylvania dirt oval.
Kreitz Racing confirmed the news via Twitter on Saturday afternoon, noting that “in the coming weeks, we will announce a driver for the National Open.”
Wagner also posted a video to his Twitter, thanking his former team, Zemco Racing, for the six years they spent racing together.
“I need to look into the future and what’s best for myself and my family,” Wagner said. “I choose to make a step out of Zemco and into the 69k. New beginnings going forward, I feel like this is my best fit and my family’s best fit for success into the future.”
