BARBERVILLE, Fla. — NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Kyle Larson plans to compete in tonight’s Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions sprint car program at Volusia Speedway Park.
Larson tweeted this afternoon that he landed a ride in the No. 14 Tony Stewart Racing sprint car, which Christopher Bell drove on several occasions last season.
Larson’s tweet included a photo of the car complete with Bell’s name on the side: “Last minute deal to run night 1 here @VolusiaSpeedwa1. Here’s my ride for tonight. Thank you @TonyStewart!!” Larson said on Twitter.
The race will be the fourth of five All Star races in the state of Florida. Donny Schatz won the first two at Bubba Raceway Park with Kerry Madsen also scoring a victory.
Larson was an All Star winner last summer while driving for Paul Silva.
Larson ran several sprint car races in Australia this winter and raced in the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals in Tulsa, Okla.
