RIO VISTA, Calif. – The King of the West Sprint Car Series announced a new partnership with Hoosier Racing Tires for the upcoming season that will make Hoosier the official race tire in 2013 for the tour.
Hoosier is the largest race tire manufacturer in the world. The company continues to be privately owned and operated by the Newton family.
“This will be great for west coast sprint car racing and will help unify the sport out here by having everyone on Hoosier Racing Tires,” said King of the West Sprint Car Series Managing Director Dan Simpson. “We are looking forward to our new partnership and can’t wait for next season to roll around.”
Hoosier Racing Tire Sales Manager Paul Menting shared the same sentiment about the upcoming season.
“On behalf of Hoosier Tire corporate and Hoosier Tire West we are really excited about partnering up with the King of the West Series for next year,” Menting said. “Hoosier has had a long tradition in sprint car racing and we’re eager to showcase our tires with KWS and 410 sprint car racing out west.”
