MITCHELLVILLE, Iowa — With Chase Randall getting the call to drive for Paul Silva and Silva Motorsports in the upcoming Gold Cup Race of Champions at Silver Dollar (Calif.) Speedway, Kaleb Johnson, will take the reins of the TKS Motorsports No. 2KS, filling the seat for the upcoming Cyclone Classic at Shelby County Speedway on September 8-9.
Troy and Tammy Renfro of TKS Motorsports are excited for Randall’s opportunity, hoping for positive results while the Mitchellville, Iowa-based operation prepares for Johnson’s arrival at Shelby County.
“We are very excited for Chase. This is a great opportunity and I’m sure he will do a great job,” Troy Renfro, owner of TKS said. “We’re excited to have Kaleb Johnson join us on such short notice. He’s also a young kid with a ton of talent and I’m sure he’ll help us achieve great things at the Cyclone Classic.”
