Jedrzejek Thrills Limaland Crowd

LIMA, Ohio — With a great crowd on hand, Kasey Jedrzejek piloted the Ed Neumeister No. 11n sprint car to his first victory at Limaland Motorsports Park in Friday’s Great Lakes Super Sprints main event.

The race headlined the Tribute to “Mr. Excitement” Tim Allison event at the quarter-mile track.

Dustin Daggett and Chase Dunham shared the front row, with Daggett taking the early race lead. Dunham would close in on lap seven as the leaders approached lapped traffic and used a well-timed slide job to take the lead on lap eight.

Caution would wave on lap 11 for Frank Neill slowing to a stop on the front stretch, and at the same time, Dunham hopped the cushion in turn two and slid to a stop on the race track.

Jedrzejek powered to the race lead on lap 12 and only be slowed for one more caution before sailing to the feature win over Daggett. It was Jedrzejek’s third win of the season.

Jared Horstman, Devon Dobie and Phil Gressman completed the top five.

Dylan Woodling took the win for the second straight week in DIRTcar UMP Modified feature action and Todd Sherman added to his career win total by grabbing the Thunderstock victory.
