SYLVANIA, Ga. – Jarett Andretti captured Friday’s Lucas Oil Southeastern Sprint Car Series feature at Screven Motor Speedway.
Andretti started second and took the lead early in the feature and survived six caution periods in the first six laps. He eventually held off Steve Surniak in a three-lap shootout to the checkered flag to earn $2,000. Kyle Cummins finished third.
The event was originally scheduled to be 25 laps, but the abundance of cautions early in the race forced officials to chop the race to 20 laps. The race was eventually slowed by seven caution periods.
Alex Bright won the companion Lucas Oil Southern States Midget Series event.
