HAUBSTADT, Ind. – Jadon Rogers, the reigning USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car Series rookie of the year, broke through for his first Midwest Sprint Car Series victory during Sunday night’s feature at Tri-State Speedway.
Rogers, an 18-year-old from Worthington, Ind., bested USAC sprint car ironman and reigning Indiana Sprint Week champion Chase Stockon for the victory, with local favorite Kendall Ruble completing the podium.
Stephen Schnapf crossed fourth and Shane Cottle was fifth, followed by longtime veteran Critter Malone.
Rogers, Stockon, Kyle Cummins and Ruble won their respective heat races, while Aric Gentry topped the B-main.
Cummins, a three-time MSCS feature winner this year, finished 19th of the 21 cars that started Sunday’s main event.
