JACKSON, Minn. – The alliance between Jackson Motorplex and Huset’s Speedway will produce yet another marquee event this season.
It was previously announced the two dirt ovals owned by Tod Quiring are hosting six nights during a seven-day stretch running June 20-26, titled The Showdown, featuring World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series competition during which a driver can earn $180,000 by sweeping the final night of the Huset’s 50 and the AGCO Jackson Nationals.
The newest venture is the Bull Haulers Brawl presented by Folkens Brothers Trucking.
The 410ci winged sprint car event showcases one night at Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minn., and one at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, S.D.
If a driver wins both main events, he or she will receive a $10,000 bonus.
“We are elated racing is back at Huset’s Speedway,” Folkens Brothers Trucking President John Folkens said. “We’re excited about the races at Jackson Motorplex and at Huset’s Speedway as we’re looking forward to the Bull Haulers extravaganza.”
The opening round is slated for Friday, May 14, at Jackson Motorplex during an event sanctioned by the Northern Outlaw Sprint Ass’n.
The A Main offers $5,000 to win and $500 to start. RaceSaver sprint cars will also be in action. Hot laps begin at 7:30 p.m. with racing to follow.
The event finale is Sunday, Aug. 1, at Huset’s Speedway. The 410 sprint car main event pays $10,000 to win and $600 to start.
RaceSaver sprint cars and late model street stocks are part of that program as well. Hot laps open the night at 7 p.m.
