ORRVILLE, Ohio — Shane Stewart missed the first two rounds of the 31st annual Ohio Speedweek for sprint cars, but is off to a fast start in Joe Gaerte’s No. 3g.
Stewart, who finished second on Sunday night after flying in from Washington where he raced in the Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup, won round four of the series Monday night at Wayne County Speedway.
Stewart started second on the three-eighths-mile track and beat Tim Shaffer to the checkered flag in the event that was sanctioned by the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions.
Danny Holtgraver finished third ahead of Greg Wilson and Andrew Palker.
Kyle Larson, Dale Blaney, Rob Chaney, Byron Reed and Jac Haudenschild completed the top five.
