ATTICA, Ohio — Dale Blaney’s success in UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions sprint car events at Attica Raceway Park continued Saturday night as the veteran Ohio racer won the Construction Equipment & Supply/ HD Supply Spring Nationals at the third-mile dirt track.
The event was shortened to a single day by rainy weather, but drew 32 cars for the season opener at the track.
Starting outside the front row, Blaney drove George Fisher’s No. 2 to victory lane ahead of Sheldon Haudenschild, who charged from ninth to take runner-up honors.
Randy Hannagan, Tim Shaffer and Craig Mintz completed the top five.
Cap Henry was fast qualifier.
Matt Miller won the late model feature and Alvin Roepke topped the 305 sprint car race.
