KNOXVILLE, Iowa — Continuing to fill his racing schedule, Ian Madsen will pilot a second Main Motorsports entry during this week’s 360 Nationals at Knoxville Raceway.
Madsen will compete in the three-night event as a teammate to Tim Kaeding.
“To be able to run for the Mains is really special for me,” Madsen said. “Last year it was pretty tough to lose a close friend in Kyle Main, so to run in is honor at my home track where we hung out a lot is really cool, and I am really hoping to put this car in victory lane where it belongs.”
Madsen comes into this weekend’s event fresh off of a couple of strong 410 sprint car runs at the facility with Guy Forbook Racing for which he will drive in the Aug. 13-15 The One and Only.
“The last couple weeks I have felt really comfortable with Guy Forbrook, and we have been pretty fast,” Madsen added. “With a couple of good finishes to our credit, I am excited to hop into the Mains car this weekend and see what we can do in the 360 Nationals, before teaming back up with Guy during the 410 event.”
