LAS VEGAS — Adult beverage brand Good Boy Vodka and Open Wheel Showdown, LLC finalized a partnership for this year’s upcoming Bitnile.com Open Wheel Showdown.
The Nov. 14-16 event at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway isthe highest-paying open wheel pavement short track event of 2024. It will be broadcast live on SPEED SPORT TV.
“I’m excited to partner with Good Boy Vodka. Working with a beverage company is something I’ve wanted to do since we ran the inaugural [Open Wheel] Showdown last year,” said event promoter Davey Hamilton Jr.
Good Boy Vodka is the first beverage company to partner with the event since the its inception last year.
Sponsoring this year’s Open Wheel Showdown that features sprint cars, open wheel modifieds, and supermodifieds is on brand for Good Boy Vodka, which has sponsored other high-adrenaline motorsports including powerboating, snowmobiling and NASCAR.
The brand is the recipient of numerous awards with their premium Vodka and line of ready-to-drink flavored cocktails and will bring an exciting energy for fans to experience trackside this year. Portions of the proceeds of their business go to their non-profit Good Boy Foundation, donating in support of animals, veterans and warrior dogs.
The Bitnile.com Open Wheel Showdown has surpassed 100 entries across four countries, the main event being a $50,000-to-win winged sprint car race.
In 2023, many of the best pavement short track drivers in the world such as champions Bobby Santos III, Kody Swanson and its promoter Davey Hamilton, Jr. raced to be the first to win the event, amongst racing stars Arie Luyendyk Sr., Mark Martin and other veterans in attendance, and will return to compete to win thousands from its record-breaking winner’s purse, with the same speeds that set the all-time track record in 2023.
