From Seventh To Lincoln Victory For Alan Krimes

ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. – Alan Krimes came from deep to win Saturday’s 410 sprint car feature at Pennsylvania’s Lincoln Speedway, driving through the field and into victory lane.

Krimes started seventh but methodically worked his way to the front, landing in the top five by lap nine of the 25-lap main event and moving into podium contention with nine to go.

From there, he eventually inherited the top spot with five laps left, after then-leader Ryan Smith was forced to retire from the race with terminal issues.

Krimes led the rest of the way and beat runner-up Jimmy Siegel to the checkered flag by 2.277 seconds.

Freddie Rahmer, Brandon Rahmer and Brian Montieth filled out the rest of the top five.

Crossing sixth through 10th were Adam Wilt, Billy Dietrich, Scott Fisher, Chad Trout and Tyler Walton.

Polesitter Cale Thomas, who led the first eight laps of the race, finished 18th after being collected in an accident in slower traffic and going to the work area for repairs.

Joe Ryan Osborne won the companion Central PA Legends feature.
