BECKLEY, W. Va. — The Carolina Sprint Tour recently hosted the inaugural Cowboy Classic to honor the life of series founder Sean Vardell.
Vardell was killed in a motorcycle accident earlier this year.
The event for RaceSaver 305 sprint cars drew 36 entries to Beckley Motor Speedway with drivers from nine states participating in the event.
Owen Dimm of Mifflintown, Pa., led all 30 laps to claim the victory.
David Brown Jr. finished second, with CST regular Jadan Bowling winding up third.
Jeremy Kornbau and Wyatt Justice completed the top five.
