Dewease Lands New Ride For 2014


FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. — Veteran Central Pennsylvania sprint car driver Lance Dewease has found a ride for the 2014 season.

The 48-year-old driver will wheel the No. 14 Dietz Motorsports winged sprint car next season. Dewease confirmed the drive via Twitter Thursday morning.

Dewease parted ways with the Heffner Racing No. 27 team at the end of the Central Pennsylvania season.

Dewease has won six track championships at Port Royal Speedway and six titles at Lincoln Speedway, while grabbing a single championship at Lincoln Speedway. He is also a four-time winner of the Williams Grove National Open.

Dewease owns 28 All Star Circuit of Champions triumphs and seven World of Outlaws victories.
