Derek Hagar Is USCS Speedweek King

JACKSON, Miss. — Derek Hagar won the USCS Sprint Speedweeks finale Saturday night at Jackson Motor Speedway and wrapped up the mini-series title in the process.

Hagar raced from the pole to win the 30-lap main event, beating Dale Howard to the checkered flag.

Veteran racer Danny Smith drove from seventh to finish third, with Shane Morgan and Morgan Turpen rounding out the top five.
