Croft Is Opening King Of The West


ANTIOCH, Calif. — Willie Croft claimed the season opener for the King of the West 410 Sprint Car Series Saturday night at Antioch Speedway.

Croft outbattled Rico Abreu to claim the first event of the season for the series with Kyle Hirst, Bobby McMahan and Evan Suggs filling the top five.

Jonathan Allard was the top qualifier with an 11.940-second lap of the three-eighths-mile dirt track.
