Carson Short Stars At 34 Raceway

WEST BURLINGTON, Iowa — Carson Short turned in an impressive performance to win Saturday night’s co-sanctioned Interstate Racing Ass’n and Midwest Open Wheel Ass’n sprint car feature at Iowa’s 34 Raceway.

Short started sixth and held off Knoxville Raceway track champion Austin McCarl to win the 25-lap feature.

It was the second victory of the season for Short, who recently topped a USCS sprint car feature.

McCarl finished second, with Brooke Tatnell, Jake Blackhurst and Ben Schmidt rounding out the top five.
