MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Briggs & Stratton will play an important role as SPEED SPORT Productions will produce the West Coast Nationals featuring the Red Bluff Outlaws for airing on SPEED SPORT on MAVTV.
Branded for television as the Briggs & Stratton West Coast Nationals, it will mark the fourth consecutive year that SPEED SPORT and Fast Four Media have partnered to package the March 15-17 outlaw kart event for television.
“We are excited to partner with SPEED SPORT and Fast Four Media to capture and share the excitement of outlaw kart racing,” said David Klaus, director of racing for Briggs & Stratton. “We are a company that goes beyond and is passionate to help families and the sport. We made a commitment and our involvement in racing dates back to the early 1930s, spanning generations at this point.”
With an air date to be announced later, the race will be called by SPEED SPORT announcers Ralph Sheheen and Derek Pernesiglio with Chase Raudman handling all of the stories from the pits.
“We couldn’t be happier to have Briggs & Stratton involved in this year’s presentation of the West Coast Nationals,” Sheheen said. “The folks at Briggs & Stratton are loyal supporters of grassroots racing, which is truly something our SPEED SPORT team shares a passion for. For me personally, being able to broadcast a show that originates from my neck of the woods makes it even better.”
The event, which will take place at the Tehama District Fairgrounds in Red Bluff, Calif., will be streamed at www.FastFourMedia.org and broadcast nationally by SPEED SPORT in a one-hour show on MAVTV.
Kyler Shaw and his Fast Four Media group will capture all of the action for the live video stream, then the SPEED SPORT production team will edit it together for the television broadcast.
The Tehama District Fairgrounds in Red Bluff, Calif., is between Chico and Redding in northern California. The Red Bluff Outlaws dates back more than 30 years.
