OHSWEKEN, Ontario – There was no stopping Christopher Bell during Tuesday’s finale to the Northern Summer Nationals presented by Burger Barn, Arrow Express, Nitro 54 Variety and Bradshaw Brothers at Ohsweken Speedway.
Bell won his heat race, started from the pole and dominated the 30-lap feature at the three-eighths-mile Canadian dirt oval for his second sprint car win of the season.
The event was sanctioned by the Northeast-based Patriot Sprint Tour.
Pennsylvania’s Mark Smith crossed the line second, followed by two Canadians in Dylan Westbrook and Jordan Poirier.
Another Pennsylvanian in Jordan Thomas completed the top five.
Popular dirt racer Rico Abreu won one of three B-mains and charged from 22nd to finish 14th, while three-time Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series titlist Tony Stewart was 23rd.
