FULTON, N.Y. — Jason Barney romped from seventh starting position to win Friday’s Empire Super Sprints feature that headlined night one of the Highbank Holdup at Fulton Speedway.
Barney claimed the 25-lap event on the quarter-mile oval, holding off fifth-starter Jordan Poirier.
Modified veteran Larry Wight rolled from ninth to finish third with Dylan Swiernik and polesitter Davie Franek rounding out the top five.
John Pietrowicz won the hobby stock feature from the pole, while Kyle Demo topped the Mod Lite main event. Kingston Sprague aced the novice sportsman feature.
