TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Former AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Car Series champion Robert Ballou raced to the victory on Mountain Dew Family Day at Indiana’s Terre Haute Action Track Sunday night.
Ballou beat another fellow USAC sprint car champion in Chris Windom during the 25-lap MSCS Sprint Car Series feature for a $3,000 payday.
Chase Stockon, Carson Short and Stevie Sussex, driving the Michael Dutcher-owned No. 17gp, completed the top five.
Long-time veteran Jon Stanbrough called it a career Sunday night by competing in his final race. He finished seventh in the 21-car field at the fast half-mile dirt track.
Kenny Wallace won the companion DIRTcar UMP Modified main event.
