PUTNAMVILLE, Ind. — Emerson Axsom outran a stellar field of winged 410 sprint car competitors to win Thursday night’s co-sanctioned Interstate Racing Ass’n and Maverick Sprint Car Series feature at Lincoln Park Speedway.
Axsom started third and held off Ayrton Gennetten to win the 30-lap main event at the quarter-mile dirt track.
Chris Windom finished third, with Parker Price-Miller and Brenham Crouch rounding out the top five.
It was race one of the four-race IRA Maverick Mayhem series.
