CLEWISTON, Fla. – Justin Barger grabbed the victory during night one of the USCS Southern Most Sprint Car Nationals presented by FireAde on Friday at Hendry County Motorsports Park.
The win marked Barger’s fifth United Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters win of the year, tied for second-most among all drivers, and the sixth of his USCS career.
Danny Martin Jr. chased Barger home in the runner-up spot, while Mark Ruel Jr. completed the podium. Longtime veterans Danny Smith and Johnny Bridges were fourth and fifth, respectively.
Eleven-time USCS national champion Terry Gray led the next group in sixth, ahead of Connor Leoffler, Nick Snyder, Conner Morrell and Terry Witherspoon.
The two-night USCS Southern Most Sprint Car Nationals presented by FireAde concludes with another complete program on Saturday night.
