Pickens Rules Western Springs Midget Feature

AUCKLAND, New Zealand – Michael Pickens was untouchable during Wednesday’s Western Springs Speedway midget feature.

Pickens started second and took the lead on the opening lap from American invader Kyle Larson and proceeded to lead the rest of the 30-lap feature, which went non-stopped and was completed in just more than eight minutes.

Larson finished second after starting the race from the pole. Logan Seavey finished third after transferring into the main event from the semi-main.

Christopher Bell, who won the 15-lap sprint car main event earlier in the evening, also transferred to the main event from the semi-main and finished fourth. Hayden Williams completed the top-five.
