TULSA, Okla. — With less than a week until racing begins inside Tulsa’s SageNet Center, Nick Hoffman will return to drive the No. 2H RAMS Racing entry at the 37th annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals.
“I’m so damn pumped to finally be cleared and get back to racing at the Chili Bowl of all places,” Hoffman said. “I’m a fender guy but making trip down to Tulsa every winter is one of my favorite weeks of the year. Jeff Taylor and Rick Young have provided me with the perfect opportunity and it’s awesome that we get to bring NOS Energy Drink along for the ride this time.”
Hoffman’s extensive modified experience resulted in five DIRTcar Modified National championships. Heading into this season, he’ll join the late model fray to compete for rookie of the year in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series.
While his background is in modifieds, the Mooresville, N.C. native has competed in two Chili Bowls. Hoffman made his Chili Bowl debut in 2021 with an E-Main ending and then excelled tremendously in his second outing last year, finishing fifth in his preliminary and competing for an A-Main transfer on Saturday before a wreck eliminated him from contention.
