TULSA, Okla. — The 31st annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals kicks off Tuesday night with Warren Cat Night inside the River Spirit Center.

Headlining the field will be NASCAR premier series driver Kyle Larson, who returns to his dirt track roots at the wheel of Keith Kunz’s No. 71k in an attempt to win one of the few races missing from his dirt-track winner’s resume.

Larson enters the event on the wings of a victory in November’s Turkey Night Grand Prix at California’s Ventura Raceway in his last time out in a midget.

Other potential winners taking to the quarter-mile Tulsa Expo Raceway on opening night of the event include POWRi Midget Series champion Zach Daum, Tyler Courtney, who won the Junior Knepper 55 inside the Southern Illinois Center in December, USAC midget series runner-up Spencer Bayston, World of Outlaws veteran Joey Saldana, ARCA champion Chase Briscoe, Alex Bright, Michael Pickens and Brad Loyet.
