It’s All Bell In Gateway Midget Finale

ST. LOUIS — Christopher Bell raced from the front row to a $10,000 victory on the final night of the VP Racing Fuels Gateway Dirt Nationals Saturday inside The Dome at America’s Center.

Driving the Keith Kunz Motorsports No. 21, Bell was the class of the field as a huge crowd watched the Oklahoma native ride to his second top-dollar midget victory in as many weeks.

Bell, who started the season by winning the Chili Bowl Nationals, won last week’s Turkey Night Grand Prix for the second consecutive year.

Shane Golobic finished second with Rico Abreu driving from midpack to finish third.

Chris Windom and C.J. Leary rounded out the top five.

Bell also won seven NASCAR Xfinity Series races and a World of Outlaws sprint car feature this season.

Bobby Pierce claimed the late model main event and Mike Harrison won the modified feature.
