Badger Midgets Opening At Beaver Dam


BEAVER DAM, Wis. – The Zimbrick Chevrolet of Sun Prairie Badger Midget Racing Series will kick off its 83rd season at Beaver Dam Raceway on April 20.

The event, known as the Wipperfurth Triple Crown, will take place on the third-mile high banked clay oval as part of an event that will include the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series and the Auto Meter Wisconsin WingLESS Sprint Series.

Badger has sanctioned 58 midget events at Beaver Dam since it re-opened in 1993 in the current track design. Twenty-three drivers have won Badger feature events at Beaver Dam, with the most recent event on Sept. 23, 2018 won by Nick Baran.

The Sept. 21 Scott Semmelmann Memorial at the track will also feature all three divisions and serve as the season finale for Badger.
