PLACERVILLE, Calif. — Tim Kaeding outdid his legendary father Brent to win Saturday night’s Cancen Oil King of the West Sprint Series presented by Goodyear sprint car feature at Placerville Speedway.

Kaeding drove the Roth No. 83 to victory on the quarter-mile dirt track, taking the series point lead in the process.

Brent Kaeding finished second with Willie Croft, fast-qualifier Shane Golobic and Jason Statler rounding out the top five.
