Bad Weather Stops NCRA/NSL Sprints

WINDOM, Minn. – Friday’s National Sprint League 360 NCRA/NSL Region event at Salina Speedway has been postponed because of severe weather that has hammered the area this week, with additional rain in the forecast.

The race at the three-eighths-mile oval in Salina, Kan., has been rescheduled for Friday, June 17.

“Our area has been hit really hard with storms this week and it doesn’t appear like it is going to let up on Friday so we are forced to postpone the race,” NSL 360 NCRA/NSL Region Competition Director Mark Lary said. “The forecast looks much better for Saturday’s race at 81 Speedway, which is still on.”

Saturday’s event at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kan., will now turn into the lone race of the weekend for the region.
