BILLINGS, Mont. — Keeping his record perfect with the ASCS Frontier Region, Oregon’s Tyler Thompson charged through the field Saturday night at Big Sky Speedway.
Now three-for-three on the season, Thompson’s charge to the top of the podium began from the ninth position.
In pursuit of Kelly Miller, who had taken away the lead from Rich Bailey on lap eight, Thompson made his move for the lead with six laps remaining.
Separated by 0.750 seconds at the finish, Miller kept pace over Bailey. Logan Forler and Phil Dietz completed the top five.
