CASA GRANDE, Ariz. — On the second night of the 3rd annual Keith Bryant Memorial, Dominic Scelzi made it clear from lap one that it was his race.
Yellows once again delayed the start of the 30-lap main at Central Arizona Raceway, but Scelzi used his redrawn pole spot to lead the ASCS field once action started.
Several additional yellows prolonged the race, but they also gave Scelzi a clear track each slowdown. The No. 41 driver maintained control the entire race, collecting the win over Logan Forler and Jake Helsel.
Ricky Thornton Sr. had a large lead in the pure stock main when a yellow flew just past the halfway point. Instead of cruising to the win, he held off Tony Martin in a close finish. Jake Jurado was third.
Zack Tate led the hobby stocks/bomber main with a large lead until dropping out. Joe Peterson inherited the lead and controlled the last six laps to win over Darrin Briggs and Charles McDaniel Sr.
