KNOXVILLE, Iowa – Joey Saldana will lead the field to the green flag for the finale of the 28th annual 360 Knoxville Nationals presented by Great Southern Bank on Saturday night at Knoxville Raceway.

Saldana, aboard the No. 26 for Rudeen Racing, earned the most points (487) during the two days of qualifying events leading up to Saturday’s finale. He’ll be joined on the front row by young gun Gio Scelzi in the No. 71 Indy Race Parts entry.

Four-time 360 Knoxville Nationals champion Terry McCarl will start third, with 2014 event winner Brian Brown starting alongside him in fourth. Greg Hodnett will chase his first 360 crown from the fifth position, with Tim Kaeding lining up sixth.

Sentimental favorite Carson Macedo will launch from sixth in the Jason Johnson Racing No. 41. Thomas Kennedy, who won the first preliminary feature on Thursday, starts eighth. Jamie Ball and Mason Daniel completed the top-10 starters in Saturday’s finale.

Others who have locked themselves into the Saturday A-Main include 2016 event winner Sammy Swindell, two-time race winner Wayne Johnson, Nate Van Haaften, Joe Beaver, Scott Bogucki, Carson McCarl, Cole Dunca, Cory Eliason, Dominic Scelzi and Trey Starks.

Notables in the B-Main include three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Tony Stewart, Brooke Tatnell, Johnny Herrera, Bill Balog, Seth Bergman, 2002 winner Jeff Swindell and ASCS point leader Sam Hafertepe Jr.

All Star Circuit of Champions kingpin Chad Kemenah will have to come from the C-Main, as will Jac Haudenschild. Roger Crockett, Willie Croft, Mark Dobmeier and Travis Rilat are among those in the D-Main. Tony Bruce Jr. will start on the pole of the E-Main.
