Rain Pushes ASCS Sprints To Sunday

WHEATLAND, Mo. — The finale of the 2013 Hockett/McMillin Memorial at the Lucas Oil Speedway was postponed until Sunday due to continued rain fall at the Wheatland oval.

Rains had subsided around 6 p.m., allowing crews to work the track and begin Hot Laps. As the final rounds of hot laps with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVTV American Real wrapped up, the skies began to open up with a steady drizzle that ended the Saturday night event.
