PLACERVILLE, Calif. – With a forecast for Saturday featuring a 90 percent chance of rain, and an hourly forecast that shows rain extending throughout the day into the evening, officials with Placerville Speedway have canceled the Gold Strike Stampede.
Officials with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network and Placerville Speedway are looking a possible date to reschedule the event.
Racing is still a go at Petaluma Speedway for Sunday, March 8.
