SAPULPA, Okla. — Landing career win No. 23 with the ASCS Sooner Region on Friday night, Tulsa’s Sean McClelland collected the $2,000 top prize at Creek County Speedway.
Taking off from the pole, McClelland went fairly unchallenged for the win. Making a late race charge, time would run out for Alex Sewell, who tailed McClelland by 0.606-seconds at the checkered flag.
Casey Wills picked up two spots for the bronze step, while Emilio Hoover and Kyle Clark completed the top five.
The ASCS Sooner Region races again on Saturday, August 17, at 81-Speedway in Park City, Kan.
